Youth has transformed their needs of recognitions, knowledge sharing,  friendships, all in one compact pack of this social sites/social media. Social networking sites has become one  part of youth's life in variety of forms, by considering that today's culture is oriented by technology. The purpose of this study is to survey the impact of these networking sites on our youth and to make the comparison of its negative vs positive effect on our young generation. The evocative examining research study draw a random  sample (N=48) of males (n=26) and females (n=22) who are administered by a student perception survey on how social networking websites/media channels. Social media websites like Facebook, Messaganger, Myspace, Twitter, Hike, Viber, Whatsapp, LinkedIn, Youtube etc are becoming more and more popular and has become  part of daily life for an increasing number of persons specially youth or young generation. Because of effective,  speedy, low cost features, young generation are attracted to social networking sites day by day. Keywords:   connectivity, impact, social networking, technology, youth  I. INTRODUCTION Social networking web sites are continuing to grow popularity. The purpose of this research study is to explore the impact of social networking sites on youth development. The medium of World Wide Web is developing with the increased usage and understanding of how to use email , netsurfing, and search the web for recipes or the long-lost instruction manual for a piece of tools. Now, internet is more about blogs, podcasts, Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Whatsapp, hike, Viber , LinkedIn and many more. There are some of the tools and technology associated with recent fact called social networking and is present everywhere. Social networking has become part of the daily life experiences for an increasing number of people. Thanks to the invention of social media, young men and women now exchange ideas, feelings, personal information, pictures and videos at a truly beyond belief rate. Maximum of the time social networking sites are used to communicate with people who are already their known or friends or relatives or connections in the social network sharing same mindset or interests , views discussions, thought process , discussions on debatable topics, news articles, latest updates on fashion or gadgets are the most common topics on these social media channels. Social media sites are not only popular for providing a   485 | Page   platform for chatting, sharing scrapes, vides, media clips, voice messages, videos, pictures, emojies etc. but also for discussing hot recent updates and issues. Earlier people supposed to keep their information and thoughts in  private but in today ’s scenario, they all like to go all the details going public and keep blogging and tweets on social channels. People are keeping themselves busy in viewing wall posts, status updates, news sharing, media transferring, posing for their display pics etc. As per the published statistics, number of social network users are raising their contribution in socializing on these media with a great extent. Below mentioned statistics are displaying the impact of these social media sites on today’s public in spite of varied demographic profiles and tastes. As of January 2014, 74% of online adults use social networking sites.   486 | Page  As of September 2014:    71% of online adults use Facebook    23% of online adults use Twitter    26% use Instagram    28% use Pinterest    28% use LinkedIn In May 2013, 74% of women were users of social networking sites, compared with 62% of men. Between February 2005 and August 2006, the use of social networking sites among young adult internet users ages 18-29  jumped from 9% to 49%. IMPACTS OF SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES ON YOUTH In today’s modern technology driven world , people connect with one another and with the world through digital technology. In fact, even adolescents, teenagers and kids don’t want to spend their time in playgrounds, malls and games center, rather they like to socialize on these social media networking sites.
