   Lesson Plan Template Name of Student Teacher :  Fatima Bilal   School :  Ishbilieah Primary school for girls Date & Duration of lesson   Number of Students Grade & Age Monday 9-10-2017 25 students Grade : Two Age : eight years Personal Learning Aims:    Students will be able to skip count by using equal groups.    Counting by equal groups.  Subject    Math  Strand    Learning Outcomes (refer to  ADEC document) Resources 2MDT1 Term 3 -   Mastered level: Use skip counting to determine 'how many' when objects are grouped or shared equally up to totals of 100. -   Developing level: Use skip counting to determine 'how many' when objects are grouped or shared  equally up to totals of 50. -   Emerging level use manipulatives to represent skip counting by 2s, 5s and 10s to determine how many when objects are grouped.      Opening : 1-   Student’s tables Activity 1    Pencils    Worksheet Activity 2    White board    Mathematics book Activity 3    Worksheet. Closing: -   Mathematics book   Supporting activities based on grouping considerations ( See ADEC document) Opening: Engage and teaching Time: 15- minutes    At the beginning of the lesson, the teacher will review the previous lesson with the students to warm them up for the new lesson, after asking the students questions, the teacher will ask the students “how many groups are in the class” and “how many students are sitting in this group”  and then I will ask the students to open their books and solve the discovering question. Practice Activities Time: 20 minutes Activity 1 (HA,MA) After solving the questions in the book, the teacher will give the students papers with numbers of how many groups they have to draw and how many items they should draw inside the group. Activity 2 ( all levels, focusing on LA)  The students will solve the questions in the  book after doing the activity. Activity 3 (LA.MA.HA) After finishing the activity, the teacher will give the students a worksheet with pictures in it and will ask the students to create an equal groups of it and will name the group, the items in the group and the total of the flowers. Example: 6 flowers pictures and the students should circle on two of each flower. So they will have 3 groups and 2 flowers in each group and the total will be 6      Closing/ Conclusion Time: 10mintess    I will ask the students about what they learned in this lesson.    Asking the students some HOTS questions and will give them some questions to solve it on the board.    Let the students to solve some questions individual.    The Process of the Lesson Comments Teaching Strategies Hands on activities. Cooperative work Classroom Management Strategies Count down Pausing Transitions Count down Assessment Strategies Asking questions during the activity (how did you get the answer, etc) General Comments The lesson in general went very well especially in the activities, I had the time to finish all the activities in one period, also to the classroom management it went well in the way that the students were listening to me and following the rules during the lesson, although I had some good sides in the lesson, I also had some negative points which I should develop them in my next steps in teaching and I will be including them in the recommendations below. Recommendations / future personal targets / areas of focus. In this lesson, many things went very well and other things have to be developed in my next teachings. So I will be recommending for each activity that have to be developed for the next steps. The first activity was “the teacher will give the students papers with numbers of how many groups they have to draw and how many items they should draw inside the group”    and in this activity, the students did what they have to do although the activity needed
