Contributions should have relevance to one or several aspects of human security under the 'four pillar' model of sociopolitical, economic, health-related and environmental security. We particularly welcome submissions on interdisciplinary research. All full paper manuscripts are peer reviewed. OUR MISSION STATEMENT The goal of this publication is to disseminate applied research into a secure and sustainable future for humanity. It will be pursued through the following aims : a. Provide a forum for interested experts to foster interdisciplinary research in broad human security issues such as track two diplomacy, ethnic conflict, terrorism, religious extremism, human rights, demographic change, population health, human ecology, sustainable economics and related areas. b. Inform academics, professionals, and the general public about developments in the fields of human security, new research projects, trends and discussions, and newly published monographs. c. Encourage a multidisciplinary approach to issues that have traditionally been viewed as mostly unidisciplinary. This is to be achieved by regular feature contributions in which specialists describe a pressing issue in their field to specialists from other areas. Special emphasis is placed on the integration of human security issues into higher education and schooling. d. Maintain an appeal to a wide readership with both high academic standards and close relevance to practice, meeting international standards of excellence.  JHS Current Issue For manuscript and editorial enquiries, please contact: Editor-In-Chief Sabina W B Lautensach Human Security Institute 1025 Farkvam Road, Terrace, British Columbia, V8G 0E7 Canada salaut@gmail.com Associate Editors Jian Yang Alex Lautensach  j.yang@auckland.ac.nz alexl@unbc.ca Editorial Board 󰁄󰁲 󰁋󰁡󰁭󰁡󰁲󰁵󰁬󰁮󰁩󰁺󰁡󰁭 󰁁󰁢󰁤󰁵󰁬󰁬󰁡󰁨, 󰁕󰁮󰁩󰁶󰁥󰁲󰁳󰁩󰁴󰁩 󰁋󰁥󰁢󰁡󰁮󰁧󰁳󰁡󰁡󰁮, 󰁍󰁡󰁬󰁡󰁹󰁳󰁩󰁡 󰁄󰁲 󰁎󰁵󰁧󰁲󰁯󰁨󰁯 󰁁󰁢󰁩󰁫󰁵󰁳󰁮󰁯, 󰁔󰁲󰁩󰁳󰁡󰁫󰁴󰁩 󰁕󰁮󰁩󰁶󰁥󰁲󰁳󰁩󰁴󰁹, 󰁊󰁡󰁫󰁡󰁲󰁴󰁡, 󰁉󰁮󰁤󰁯󰁮󰁥󰁳󰁩󰁡 󰁄󰁲 󰁊󰁯󰁮󰁡󰁴󰁨󰁡󰁮 󰁂󰁡󰁲󰁮󰁥󰁴󰁴, 󰁕󰁮󰁩󰁶󰁥󰁲󰁳󰁩󰁴󰁹 󰁯󰁦 󰁍󰁥󰁬󰁢󰁯󰁵󰁲󰁮󰁥, 󰁁󰁵󰁳󰁴󰁲󰁡󰁬󰁩󰁡 󰁍󰁲 󰁐󰁡󰁵󰁬 󰁂󰁥󰁬󰁬󰁡󰁭󰁹, 󰁗󰁥󰁬󰁬󰁩󰁮󰁧󰁴󰁯󰁮, 󰁎󰁥󰁷 󰁚󰁥󰁡󰁬󰁡󰁮󰁤 󰁍󰁲 󰁍󰁩󰁣󰁨󰁡󰁥󰁬 󰁂󰁲󰁯󰁷󰁮󰁥, (󰁊.󰁄.), 󰁐󰁥󰁲󰁴󰁨, 󰁁󰁵󰁳󰁴󰁲󰁡󰁬󰁩󰁡 󰁄󰁲 󰁓󰁴󰁥󰁰󰁨󰁥󰁮 󰁂󰁵󰁲󰁧󰁥󰁳󰁳, 󰁕󰁓 󰁁󰁩󰁲 󰁗󰁡󰁲 󰁃󰁯󰁬󰁬󰁥󰁧󰁥, 󰁕󰁓󰁁 󰁄󰁲 󰁁󰁬󰁦󰁩󰁯 󰁃󰁥󰁲󰁡󰁭󰁩, 󰁃󰁥󰁮󰁴󰁥󰁲 󰁦󰁯󰁲 󰁅󰁵󰁲󰁯󰁰󰁥󰁡󰁮 󰁓󰁴󰁵󰁤󰁩󰁥󰁳, 󰁓󰁣󰁩󰁥󰁮󰁣󰁥󰁳 󰁐󰁯, 󰁐󰁡󰁲󰁩󰁳, 󰁆󰁲󰁡󰁮󰁣󰁥 󰁐󰁲󰁯󰁦󰁥󰁳󰁳󰁯󰁲 󰁇󰁥󰁲󰁡󰁬󰁤 󰁃󰁨󰁡󰁮, 󰁕󰁮󰁩󰁶󰁥󰁲󰁳󰁩󰁴󰁹 󰁯󰁦 󰁁󰁵󰁣󰁫󰁬󰁡󰁮󰁤, 󰁎󰁥󰁷 󰁚󰁥󰁡󰁬󰁡󰁮󰁤 󰁐󰁲󰁯󰁦󰁥󰁳󰁳󰁯󰁲 󰁋󰁥󰁶󰁩󰁮 󰁃󰁬󰁥󰁭󰁥󰁮󰁴󰁳, 󰁕󰁮󰁩󰁶󰁥󰁲󰁳󰁩󰁴󰁹 󰁯󰁦 󰁏󰁴󰁡󰁧󰁯, 󰁎󰁥󰁷 󰁚󰁥󰁡󰁬󰁡󰁮󰁤 󰁄󰁲 󰁔󰁨󰁯󰁭󰁡󰁳 󰁄󰁩󰁴󰁺󰁬󰁥󰁲, 󰁔󰁲󰁩󰁰󰁬󰁥󰁲 󰁁󰁲󰁭󰁹 󰁍󰁥󰁤󰁩󰁣󰁡󰁬 󰁃󰁥󰁮󰁴󰁥󰁲, 󰁈󰁯󰁮󰁯󰁬󰁵󰁬󰁵, 󰁈󰁡󰁷󰁡󰁩󲀙󰁩, 󰁕󰁓󰁁 󰁐󰁲󰁯󰁦󰁥󰁳󰁳󰁯󰁲 󰁃. 󰁍󰁩󰁣󰁨󰁡󰁥󰁬 󰁄󰁯󰁵󰁧󰁬󰁡󰁳󰁳, 󰁕󰁮󰁩󰁶󰁥󰁲󰁳󰁩󰁴󰁹 󰁯󰁦 󰁈󰁡󰁷󰁡󰁩󲀙󰁩, 󰁕󰁓󰁁 󰁄󰁲 󰁊󰁯󰁨󰁮 󰁊󰁡󰁮󰁺󰁥󰁫󰁯󰁶󰁩󰁣, 󰁕󰁮󰁩󰁶󰁥󰁲󰁳󰁩󰁴󰁹 󰁯󰁦 󰁴󰁨󰁥 󰁓󰁵󰁮󰁳󰁨󰁩󰁮󰁥 󰁃󰁯󰁡󰁳󰁴, 󰁑󰁵󰁥󰁥󰁮󰁳󰁬󰁡󰁮󰁤, 󰁁󰁵󰁳󰁴󰁲󰁡󰁬󰁩󰁡 󰁄󰁲 󰁃󰁨󰁲󰁩󰁳󰁴󰁯󰁰󰁨󰁥󰁲 󰁌󰁡󰁍󰁯󰁮󰁩󰁣󰁡, 󰁕󰁮󰁩󰁴󰁥󰁤 󰁓󰁴󰁡󰁴󰁥󰁳 󰁃󰁯󰁡󰁳󰁴 󰁇󰁵󰁡󰁲󰁤 󰁁󰁣󰁡󰁤󰁥󰁭󰁹, 󰁃󰁯󰁮󰁮. 󰁕󰁓󰁁 󰁐󰁲󰁯󰁦󰁥󰁳󰁳󰁯󰁲 󰁄󰁥󰁡󰁮󰁥 󰁎󰁥󰁵󰁢󰁡󰁵󰁥󰁲, 󰁕󰁮󰁩󰁶󰁥󰁲󰁳󰁩󰁴󰁹 󰁯󰁦 󰁈󰁡󰁷󰁡󰁩󲀙󰁩, 󰁕󰁓󰁁 󰁄󰁲 󰁊󰁩󰁭 󰁒󰁯󰁬󰁦󰁥, 󰁁󰁳󰁩󰁡 󰁐󰁡󰁣󰁩󰁦󰁩󰁣 󰁃󰁩󰁶󰁩󰁬 󰁍󰁩󰁬󰁩󰁴󰁡󰁲󰁹 󰁃󰁥󰁮󰁴󰁲󰁥 󰁯󰁦 󰁅󰁸󰁣󰁥󰁬󰁬󰁥󰁮󰁣󰁥, 󰁃󰁡󰁮󰁢󰁥󰁲󰁲󰁡, 󰁁󰁵󰁳󰁴󰁲󰁡󰁬󰁩󰁡 󰁄󰁲 󰁋󰁩󰁲󰁳󰁴󰁩 󰁓󰁴󰁵󰁶󰃸󰁹, 󰁌󰁩󰁬󰁬󰁥󰁨󰁡󰁭󰁭󰁥󰁲 󰁕󰁮󰁩󰁶󰁥󰁲󰁳󰁩󰁴󰁹 󰁃󰁯󰁬󰁬󰁥󰁧󰁥, 󰁎󰁯󰁲󰁷󰁡󰁹 󰁄󰁲. 󰁃. 󰁖󰁩󰁮󰁯󰁤󰁡󰁮, 󰁍󰁡󰁨󰁡󰁴󰁭󰁡 󰁇󰁡󰁮󰁤󰁨󰁩 󰁕󰁮󰁩󰁶󰁥󰁲󰁳󰁩󰁴󰁹, 󰁉󰁮󰁤󰁩󰁡 󰁄󰁲 󰁙󰁯󰁮󰁧 󰁗󰁡󰁮󰁧, 󰁐󰁥󰁫󰁩󰁮󰁧 󰁕󰁮󰁩󰁶󰁥󰁲󰁳󰁩󰁴󰁹, 󰁃󰁨󰁩󰁮󰁡 󰁗󰁥 󰁧󰁲󰁡󰁴󰁥󰁦󰁵󰁬󰁬󰁹 󰁡󰁣󰁫󰁮󰁯󰁷󰁬󰁥󰁤󰁧󰁥 󰁴󰁨󰁥 󰁡󰁳󰁳󰁩󰁳󰁴󰁡󰁮󰁣󰁥 󰁯󰁦 󰁍󰁳 󰁒󰁯󰁳󰁩󰁥 󰁂󰁯󰁵󰁲󰁤󰁥󰁡󰁵 󰁩󰁮 󰁰󰁵󰁢󰁬󰁩󰁳󰁨󰁩󰁮󰁧 󰁴󰁨󰁩󰁳 󰁩󰁳󰁳󰁵󰁥.   Librello Publishing http://librelloph.com/  jose.monteiro@librelloph.com   For subscription and delivery enquiries from January 2013, please contact:  JHS Current Issue TABLE OF CONTENTS Volume 8 Issue 2 The Security Risks of Climate Change Displacement in Bangladesh Editorial Ben Saul    Journal of Human Security Editor-In-Chief: Sabina WB Lautensach, PhD, Human Security Institute (Canada) 1-4 5-35 Creating Folk Devils: Street Gang Representations in El Salvador’s Print Media Sonja Wolf 36-63 The Securitisation of Disasters: A Study of How US Presidents Frame Responses to Foreign Natural Disasters Sean P.
