Competitor Research Monster energy drink introduced by Hansen Natural Corp. The regular flavour comes in a back can with a torn green M as the logo on the front. The company is also known for supporting many extreme sporting events such as UFC, BMX, Motocross, Speedway and many more. In North America alone, there are 34 different drinks under the Monster brand. Advertising: Monster Energy is advertised mainly through sponsorship of sporting events, including motocross, BMX, mountain biking, snowboarding, skateboarding, car racing, speedway, and also through sponsorship of Sports events. Logo: The Monster Energy Drink logo is widely recognized among major beverages and at sponsored events. McLean Design, a California-based strategic branding firm, created the design. The logo is composed of a vibrant large green ″M″ on field of black. The ″M″ is styled in such a way as to imply that the claws of a Monster ripping through the can form it. Ingredients: The caffeine content of most Monster Energy drinks is approximately 10 mg/oz. (33.81 mg/100ml), or 160 mg for a 16 oz. can. The packaging usually contains a warning label advising consumers against drinking more than 48 oz. per day (16 oz. per day in Australia). Europe does not have these warning labels. The drinks are not recommended for pregnant women or people sensitive to caffeine. The ingredients include carbonated water, sucrose, glucose, citric acid,  natural flavors, taurine, sodium citrate, color added, panax ginseng root extract, L-carnitine, caffeine, sorbic acid, benzoic acid, niacinamide, sodium chloride, glucuronolactone, inositol, guarana seed extract, pyridoxine hydrochloride, sucralose, riboflavin, maltodextrin, and cyanocobalamin.  Cost around : £2.00 Rockstar Energy Drink : Rock star (branded ROCKST   R ) is an Energy Drink created in 2001. With 14% of the US market in 2008, Rock star is a leading energy drink brand. Rock star is based in Las Vegas, Nevada. As of January 2013, Rock star Energy Drink is available in more than twenty flavors, and is in more than thirty countries. Founded in 1998 by Russell Weiner, the son of conservative talk show host Michael  Savage, Rock star launched into the fastest-growing segment of the US beverage market at the time: energy drinks. Advertising: Alongside its competitor Red Bull, Rock star sponsors a range of action sports and music events, including the Mayhem festival, a mental and rock festival touring the United States in July and August; the Uproar Festival, a rock festival touring the United States in September and October. Both festivals were discontinued in 2015. Product: Rock star, like monster energy, use a black background with shiny and distinctive colors. In this case gold and red are the primary colors and are used everywhere around the can. To grab the attention of customers, a large shiny star is placed on the front, this is a common factor in energy drinks to define them to the eye quickly. Ingredients: Besides caffeine and sugar, rock star Energy Drink contains a variety of herbs, including panax ginseng, ginkgo biloba, thistle extract, and guaranaseed. The amount of guarana used to be higher, but after being criticized for including guarana once health concerns about the herb were publicized, the amount in the drink was significantly reduced. It also includes 1000 mg of  taurine. Cost Around : £2.00 Relentless: Relentless is the brand name of an energy drink created in February 2006 by The Coca-Cola Company. The drink has also been the subject of court proceedings for breach of trademark by Relentless Records. In the year ending 2010, sales of the product in the UK increased by 28 percent. After a deal on 14 August 2014 seeing Coca Cola purchase a 16.7% stake in Monster Energy, the ownership of the ‘Relentless’  brand (along with other Coca Cola Energy brands) was transferred to Monster Energy and Monster Energy's non energy brands transferred to Coca Cola. Red Bull: Red Bull is an energy drink sold by Austrian company Red Bull GmbH, created in 1987. Red Bull has the highest market share of any energy drink in the world, with 6.062 billion cans sold in 2016. Austrian entrepreneur Dietrich Mateschitz was inspired by an existing energy drink named Krating Daeng, which was first introduced and sold in Thailand by Chaleo Yoovidhya. He took this idea, modified the ingredients to suit the tastes of Westerners, and, in partnership with Chaleo, founded Red Bull GmbH in 1987 in Chakkapong, Thailand. In Thai,  daeng  means red, and Krating  is the large bovine called gaur  in English. Red Bull is sold in a tall and slim blue-silver can, while Krating Daeng is in a shorter gold can. The two are different products, produced separately.  Ingredients: Red Bull contains caffeine, taurine, B vitamins (B3, B5, B6, and B12), sucrose, and glucose. To produce Red Bull Sugar free, sugars sucrose and glucose have been replaced by the sweeteners acesulfame K and aspartame/sucralose. The srcinal Red Bull from Austria (carbonated) has been exported to China since 2014. In addition, the local energy drink brand is also called Red Bull. Red Bulls sold in China have two versions: a regular-strength version in a short, wide, gold-and-red can similar to the Thai drink and an extra-strength version in a taller, thinner, blue-and-silver can more like the Western version. Neither Chinese version is carbonated.  Items on a can ãLogo   ã Company details  –  e.g. contact information ãDrink name   ãText –  ingredients/what the drink is e.g.  –  Carbonated mixed flavor energy drink with added Taurine, Caffeine and Guarana. ã Use by date/best before date ã Storage details ã Exclusions  –  allergies, pregnant women etc. ã Warnings  –  e.g. High Caffeine Content ãRecycle logo   ã Aluminum logo ã Barcode ã Product code ãLiquid amount   ã Calorie details ã Serving details  –  serve chilled
